Recycle Central

Box Tops (and other stuff) For Education

Please remember there are collection cans in the fellowship hall to help raise money for our schools by collecting Box Tops for Education, Tyson Labels, Campbell's Labels and empty printer ink jet cartridges. KEEP SAVING

Old Cell Phones

There is also a box to collect old cell phones - when resold/reused $3.00 of what is collected goes to Habitat for Humanity.

Pill Bottles

Pill bottles are being recycled again.

Paper and Plastics

If your area does not have recycling for newspapers and plastics - bring them in. Joe picks them up every week and gets them recycled.

Recycle Empty Inkjet Cartridges

We now have the capability to collect empty inkjet cartridges to receive money for the church. We receive up to $3.00 for each cartridge recycled. Cartridges can be deposited in our collection bin located in the Fellowship Hall. We currently have been collecting them for the school’s recycling programs.

Simply place your old cartridge in a plastic sandwich bag and deposit it in our collection bin. Most businesses simply throw their empty cartridges in the garbage so check at work to see if they would donate their would be garbage. The acceptable cartridges are listed below. No large laser cartridges are accepted with this program and will not fit through the holes on our collection box.

In addition to raising money for Immanuel’s Youth programs, recycling inkjet cartridges has a positive impact on the environment. Consider the following: Nearly 1 million inkjets are thrown into our landfills every day. Less than 5% of the cartridges produced are recycled. It takes 1000 years for the plastic to decompose.
